Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi has announced the launch of the “Ehsaas Fuel Support Programme”, which will provide a monthly petrol subsidy of Rs 2,000 to motorbike and scooter owners across the province.
The initiative is designed to offer financial relief to residents, helping them cope with rising fuel costs. Registered motorcycles and scooters will be eligible for this monthly fuel assistance.
Who Can Apply
- Applicants must be the registered owners of a motorcycle or scooter, with complete transfer documentation if applicable.
- Vehicles that are unregistered or registered in another person’s name will not be eligible for the subsidy.
How to Register (Through Dastak App)
- Download the Dastak App from the Play Store or App Store.
- Create an account on the app.
- Enter the vehicle registration number and chassis details.
- Provide personal information including:
- Full name.
- Father’s name.
- CNIC number.
- Registered mobile number.
- Residential address.
- Submit the application for the petrol subsidy.
Documents Required
- CNIC (both front and back).
- Vehicle registration book or smart card.
- Clear photograph of the vehicle.
- Verification from both buyer and seller in case of ownership transfer.
Verification Procedure
Applications will be checked through e-Sahulat and reviewed by the Excise and Taxation Office. Applicants will be informed whether their submission is approved or rejected.
Important Guidelines
- Applications with inaccurate information or incomplete ownership transfer will be rejected.
- If the vehicle has been transferred, verification from both parties is compulsory.
- Registration for the scheme will begin on 6 April.
This subsidy is part of the provincial government’s efforts to reduce the burden of inflation on low-income households.
