Islamabad: The Supreme Court has directed Adiala jail authorities to transfer PTI founder Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital for continued medical assessment and treatment until September 16. The order comes amid growing concern over his health.
Jail administration submitted a two-page report to the top court, filed a day ahead of the hearing. The report outlined his current medical condition, though full details haven’t been made public yet.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Afridi has also expressed deep concern over the situation, saying the official medical report has left him seriously worried.
Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar clarified that the party hasn’t received any additional information from an independent source regarding Imran Khan’s health. Under jail rules, Imran Khan and his wife meet every Tuesday a detail confirmed in Adiala jail’s report to the court.
